In order to qualify as a Caregiver within the State of Michigan:
Caregiver Qualifications
You must be at least 21 years of age
You must be willing to help patients with their medical marijuana needs
You must not have been convicted of a felony involved illegal drugs, a violent felony or any other felony in the past 10 years
Furthermore, you will need to register as a caregiver within the State of Michigan. When a patient submits their information for a medical marijuana card, they will submit your information and designate you as their caregiver along with an attestation stating that you agree to be their caregiver. As a caregiver you are allowed to have up to five (5) patients under your care. You are allowed to receive compensation for your services or any expenses that you may have incurred. As a primary caregiver – you are allowed to have up to 72 plants in your possession.
